This summer singers from across Canada and the Pacific Northwest will come together at the 5th annual Kaslo summer choral workshops. Singers of all abilities are invited to spend time in beautiful Kaslo, British Columbia singing, enjoying nature, and meeting friendly people. The focus of the workshops is to build musical confidence, choral skills, and friendships. How Can I Keep from Singing? July 19-23, maximum 40 participants This workshop provides a unique choral opportunity for singers of all abilities. While preparing a rich and varied program for the final concert, the singers have the opportunity to further develop their musical knowledge and vocal skills. The week ends with a concert at St. Andrew’s United Church, one of Kaslo’s heritage buildings. Mini Workshop July 16-18, maximum 40 participants The Mini Workshop is designed especially for singers from Kaslo and the surrounding area. The participants have the opportunity to prepare some of the same repertoire as the singers in the “How Can I Keep From Singing” workshop and are invited to perform at the final concert on July 23. |
